STS Electric can install the power for your new electric car. We have done hundreds of installations for electric car chargers including, but not limited to Tesla, BMW and Chevrolet. We have done 100 amp high power chargers for the Teslas all the way down to the 30 amp charger for the Volt. STS is certified with the state of Illinois as an “Installer, Maintainer and Repairer of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations”. Quite often there are incentives or tax breaks offered by various states. In order for a consumer to take advantage of many of these credits the charger must be installed by a certified electrical contractor. STS Services Include

Bolt EV

We are a trained and certified professional EV installer. We can install the Charger you might have purchased elsewhere, or the Clipper Creek charging system that we can supply for the Bolt EV. The 240-volt/32 Amp charging unit is the fastest way to recharge your battery at home, and will fully charge your car overnight. This higher power system can provide up to 25 miles per hour of charge time.

Charge Point

We are trained and certified professional Charge Point EV installer. This type of equipment gives you many options for public or private parking lots for free or automatic “pay” , or even with a system that can credit your customer for the charged electricity if they make a purchase at your retail business. Clipper Creek

We are trained and certified professional Clipper Creek EV/EVSE installer. We can install the unit you bought, or we can bring the proper unit along. Please call us for a free no obligation proposal. RELIABLE. POWERFUL. The Clipper Creek is designed to take the wear-and-tear of everyday use.

Tesla

The standard charger will work for most people, the charging rate is up to 29 Miles per hour for the Model “S” and 25 Miles per hour for the Model “X”. The charging cable that comes with the car will directly plug into a Nema 14-50 outlet. This outlet will be on a 50 amp breaker
